This policy explains how Mplode Corporation ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use Self Driving Events, including this website and our text messaging program.

Information we collect

• Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number.
• Mobile number and text message consent: if you opt in to texts, your mobile number and a record of your consent (when and where you gave it and the wording you agreed to), the messages we send you, and any STOP or HELP replies.
• Order information: your events, catering orders, invoices, and payment status. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout; we do not receive or store them.
• Website data: basic technical information your browser sends when you visit, such as IP address and browser type, used to operate and secure the site.

How we use it

• to provide the service: taking orders, sending invoices and payment links, and confirming payments;
• to send invoices and payment confirmations by email, and by text message if you opted in;
• to respond to your questions and provide support;
• to keep the service secure and comply with the law.

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Text messaging

If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number only to send the order messages described in our SMS Terms. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This excludes only the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf, described below, which may use the information solely to provide that service to us.

When you opt out, we stop texting you and keep a record of the opt-out so that it continues to be honored.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• with service providers that process it on our behalf and only to provide their services to us: Twilio, which delivers our text messages; Stripe, which processes payments; and our website hosting provider;
• when required by law or to protect our rights;
• as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, subject to this policy;
• with your consent.

All of the above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, which are not shared with any third parties except as needed to deliver the messages you asked for.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you have an open order, and afterward as needed for accounting, legal, and dispute-resolution purposes. We keep text message consent and opt-out records for as long as needed to honor them and demonstrate compliance.

Your choices and rights

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting us. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law.

Children

Self Driving Events is intended for adults arranging events and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date.
