SMS Terms

These terms apply to text messages from Self Driving Events, a service operated by Mplode Corporation ("we", "us"). They are part of our Terms of Service.
Program description
Event organizers who opt in receive text messages about their own catering orders:
- invoices, each with a secure link to pay online;
- payment confirmations after an invoice is paid.
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How you opt in
Text messages are optional. On our sign-up form, which asks for your name and email address, you opt in by also entering your mobile number and checking the separate text message consent box. The box is never checked for you. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of signing up or of purchase; without it you receive the same information by email. After you submit the form with the box checked, we send one text message asking you to confirm. Your enrollment starts when you reply YES; if you don't reply, we don't text you again.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with how many orders you place: typically one text when an invoice is ready and one when it's paid.

Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for the charges your carrier applies.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message. The words STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT also opt you out. We send one final message confirming it and then send no further text messages unless you opt in again. Replying CANCEL stops text messages; it does not cancel a catering order.
How to opt back in
Reply START to a previous message from us, or sign up again on our sign-up form.

Carrier disclaimer
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We use your mobile number only to send the messages described above. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects how we message you, we will tell you before it takes effect. You can opt out at any time.
